Government Writes to the UK for Nawaz Sharif Deportation
Pakistani Government wrote a letter to the UK Government for the deportation of EX-Prime Minister and supreme leader of PML-N Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif takes the bail from the Islamabad High Court of Pakistan to complete medical treatment in London. Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, confirmed a few days back Punjab government finally decided not to extend the bail of Nawaz Sharif.
She said through the media that; the letter was sent to bring EX-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif back home. Nawaz Sharif was allowed by the Islamabad High court to go abroad for medical treatment last year.
On Shehbaz Sharif reaction Firdous Ahisiq Awan said that I think the letter by the foreign Minister had arrived in the UK. Moreover, she said that it had been 105 days since the treatment of Nawa Sharif in the UK. During this time, Nawaz Sharif has not sent any medical report regarding his health condition, and he has not even been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Also, added; he is misusing the facility which is provided by the Islamabad High Court to them.
Furthermore, she said that the medical board is asking for any health or medical treatment report, but he was sending letters and certificates instead. There is a lot more difference between the medical report and a useless certificate.
She said that the same medical board, which allows them to go abroad for their medical treatment, is telling them to come back. On the recommendation of the same medical board, the Government decided to bring Nawaz Sharif to the country. In the event in Sialkot, she said that Nawaz Sharif did not provide a medical treatment certificate, so for this purpose, we are bringing them back to Pakistan.
She also mentioned a viral picture of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif at a cafe in London. This picture clearly shows that you are not here for any medical treatment for which you have been travelled. Nawaz Sharif went to London last year in November for medical treatment after taking permission from the Islamabad high court, Pakistan.
The PML-N maintained the medical report of EX-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which was sent to the Punjab Government. For the time being, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that the letter which was written for the deportation of Nawaz Sharif sent to the British Authorities. However, when asked to Shah Mahmood Qureshi to reveal everything which was written in the letter, He said, “We will tell you the Detail Later.”
It was clear that Nawaz Sharif went to London for medical treatment after being released on bail from a seven-year sentence for corruption. On December 23, the Lahore High court extended an extension and granted him a four week period to stay abroad to complete his medical treatment as soon as possible. But after the viral picture of Nawaz Sharif at a cafe in London, the Government rejected the report which had been submitted on December 23.
For this reason, On January 20, the Punjab Government has asked Nawaz Sharif to submit their latest medical report. On February 25, The Punjab Cabinet has decided not to further extend the Bail of Nawaz Sharif.
