Ahmed Khan Achakzai a prominent leader of the Ghabizai tribe, a well-informed observer of the Pashtun belt, and a respected figure known for his deep insight into global politics and international conflicts attended a high-level and significant consultative meeting at the invitation of the renowned tribal personality, Sardar Usman Gurgech. The session was attended by a large number of senior government officials, venerable tribal elders, and distinguished political leaders. The participants engaged in a comprehensive discussion regarding the current situation at the Pak-Afghan border and the various economic and political challenges facing both brotherly nations.

During the proceedings, Ahmed Khan Achakzai emphasized that sustainable peace and robust trade ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only guarantees for regional prosperity. He remarked that the geographical, religious, and cultural bonds between the two countries are so profound that they must not be allowed to weaken under any circumstances. Reaffirming his sincere efforts and dedication to bringing both governments closer, Mr. Achakzai stated, “Dialogue is the only path through which misunderstandings can be resolved.
On this occasion, Sardar Usman Gurgech highlighted that the role of tribal elders has historically been akin to a bridge, and in the current climate, bringing political leaders and government officials together at one table is a highly positive step. He lauded Ahmed Khan Achakzai’s peace-loving approach and his continuous struggle to bridge the gap between the two nations. At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed their collective resolve to play a proactive role in fostering harmony at the grassroots level and addressing the grievances of people living on both sides of the border to ensure economic stability and a spirit of brotherhood in the region.
